We offer fun, exhilarating and professional Instructional Tandem Paragliding Flights in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Join us to experience the freedom of paragliding from Lions Head or Signal Hill.

It is by far probably one of the best things to do when visiting Cape Town! Enjoy a birds-eye view of the Atlantic Seaboard, Robben Island and off course our very own natural Wonder of the World, Table Mountain.

Sometimes, it only takes one flight to put things in life into perspective. Just about everyone who flies with us are all smiles when we return to mother earth! The deep feelings coming all over you, resonates with your heart, fills your soul with wonder and awakens your mind!

WhenAll year round weather dependent.
WhereSignal Hill or Lions Head depending on the wind direction. If flights are done from Signal Hill we land opposite the Winchester Mansions Hotel and if we fly from Lions Head we land right in front of the Bungalow in Clifton.
WeatherParagliding is a weather-dependent sport. High-speed winds, poor visibility, rain and low clouds, are just some of the reasons that can delay, or even cancel our Paragliding operations. In case of bad weather, our team will announce a “standby”, which means we have to put our operations on hold. Regular announcements will be made updating you on the conditions while you wait at our locations. If the weather shows no signs of improving and we have to cancel operations and you cannot reschedule for the next available date, you will receive a full refund. Cape Hope Paragliding is not liable for any costs (travel, stay, etc.) incurred by the individual in the instances mentioned above. We recommend that you join us in the beginning of your travels so that we have the option to reschedule your flight if the weather doesn't play along.

Things to BringYour gift voucher, if you have one and off course Sunscreen!
Guests or SpectatorsAre more than welcome to come with on the day of the flight. Guests can either watch the take off from Signal Hill/Lions head or they can wait on the landing which is either opposite the Winchester Mansions hotel in Seapoint or the Bungalow in Clifton.

Inclusions and Exclusions

InclusionsYour very own experienced Paragliding Instructor, Safety Gear (Helmet+Harness), Transportation back to Signal Hill after the flight.
ExclusionsHD photos and videos which can be purchased on the day of your flight for R400pp.

Notes

What time to arrive- Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your booking time. If you selected a slot for 10:00 am, please arrive between 9:40am-9:45am. Additionally, please plan to spend between 40 minutes to an hour, (i.e. from the time you check-in till the time you collect your SD card). Please also check in with us 2 hours before your flight time to confirm that the weather conditions are suitable.
